Progressive Elbow and Knee Splint
Progressive soft splint provides comfortable positioning with secure support while gently increasing range of motion of elbow or knee. Ideal for people who have mild to moderate elbow or knee spasticity following a cerebrovascular accident. Also for contractures resulting from arthritis, dementia, Parkinson's disease or osteoporosis/osteoarthritis. Soft foam sherpa splint base decreases the risk of skin breakdown and increases comfort and compliance.
Splint construction allows trimming length approximately 2.5cm (1"). Cuffs of splint must be long enough to support two-thirds of the limb. Proximal cuff length refers to narrowest portion of cuff, to be located in axillary or groin region.
