These glide sheets are designed for patients who need help sliding backwards and who also need help in preventing movement forwards, i.e., they "glide" back and then "lock" in place. Three internal locking strips enable the patient/client to slide back easily and ensure client safety by preventing movement forward. For use in wheelchairs, chairs and beds, they encourage independence and also reduce handling time. Suitable for patients who have some degree of upper body strength and general mobility. Washable above 72°C, the top fabric is waterproof yet breathable to reduce sweating and improve comfort.
